- Knights move two squares in any direction, and then turn 90 degrees and move one more square (making an “L” shaped move). Knights are the only piece that can jump over other pieces.
- Bishops can move diagonally, in any direction for as many squares as you want.
- Queens can move in a straight line forward, back, sideways, and diagonal for as many spaces are you want. Other than the king, the queen is the most valuable piece.
